Every coffee bean tells a story, and ours begins in the misty hills of Chikmagalur, Karnataka. Known as the birthplace of Indian coffee, this region’s rich soil and shaded forests create the perfect environment for growing complex, aromatic Arabica beans. For five generations, my family farm, Navilumane Estate, has nurtured these trees by hand, ensuring every harvest reflects both tradition and terroir.
When we moved to California, we noticed something missing in the American coffee landscape: genuine, single-origin Indian coffee. So we decided to bring it here, roasted fresh in small batches in Berkeley, California.
