Hi everyone! It's harvest season and we are going to our farms in India to make sure we follow the best practices during the harvest. We will miss meeting you all at the Newark farmer's market on Sundays. We will be back on Feb 20, 2025. In the meantime we have arranged a special roast on 14th Feb, 2025. Chicory Coffee Blend
Indian Arabica Coffee blended with Indian Chicory root powder. This blend is used in Indian Filter Coffee. A blend that was introduced to India by British during world war II and now the most popular Coffee blend in India. Every roaster has a different take on this blend and so do we! Our recipe meticulously crafted to redefine your filter coffee experience. This blend comprises 20% Chicory and 80% Arabica beans. Just like the coffee farm, this ratio of chicory to coffee is also passed down for generations. Contains 20% Chicory root powder which brings the perfect balance of rich, velvety texture and mouthfeel with long lasting flavor. Chicory has “inulin”, a prebiotic. A substantial amount of clinical research suggests that Chicory can promote gut health by stimulating the growth of beneficial gut bacteria while decreasing other germs and bacteria in the intestines. ![Do you know what happens to the unsold coffee beans in the retail store?
We didn’t know either. I guess there’s first time for everything. We overstocked at our retail partner store and noticed that some bags from the late November roast haven’t moved. so we took them out and swapped them with the latest January roast to make sure you get the fresh coffee!
But what should we do with these bags? They are perfectly fine. I think we will keep a bag for my cold brew concentrate experiment and Give away the rest.
